Pick your device, then read the failure point

Every install route here is short. What is not obvious is where each one goes wrong, so the failure point is next to the steps rather than buried in a troubleshooting section at the bottom.

Android, the APK route

  1. Open the download link in Chrome and tap the Android button. Chrome warns that this file type can harm your device — it says that for every APK ever downloaded and is not specific to this one.
  2. Open the finished download from the notification shade or from Files → Downloads.
  3. Grant install rights when asked. Android 8.0 and later ask whether this specific app — Chrome, or your file manager — may install packages, and drops you on that one permission screen. This is the step people cannot find, because they are looking for the old device-wide toggle in Security settings that stopped existing in 2017.
  4. Check the confirmation screen, then install. Confirm the app name matches. Several unrelated packages circulate under this name on aggregator sites, which is worth two minutes before you tap: the APK verification guide shows what to compare.
  5. Revoke the permission. Settings → Apps → Chrome → Install unknown apps → off. Nothing in the installed app depends on it, and leaving it on means the next stray APK installs just as smoothly.

Budget roughly 85–120 MB of free storage. Android 6.0 or newer covers it; download pages quote 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 inconsistently, so anything from a 2016 handset onward is safe to assume.

Android, without sideloading

If you would rather not grant install rights — or your phone is managed and will not let you — Chrome installs the casino as a home-screen app directly:

Three-dot menu → Install app → confirm.

You get the icon and a standalone window, the app refreshes from the server every launch so it never goes stale, and no permission is involved. Firefox on Android does the same thing under Add to Home screen.

Opera does not offer this. If the menu item is simply absent, that is almost always the reason — switch to Chrome rather than concluding the site is broken.

iPhone and iPad

There is one route, and one step people skip.

Safari → Share icon → Add to Home Screen → Add.

That builds a standalone web app with its own window and its own storage container. Two things depend on completing it:

  • Notifications. iOS only allows web push for pages added to the Home Screen, and the permission prompt appears only when you open it from the icon. Left as an ordinary tab, bonus and free-spin alerts never arrive — there is nothing to enable.
  • Staying signed in. Safari’s tracking prevention clears script-written storage for sites you have not interacted with for a while. The Home Screen app keeps its own container and is not swept the same way; a tab is, which is why the login appears to forget you.

It must be Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS run Safari’s engine but do not expose Add to Home Screen, so start there even if it is not your default browser.

Download for iOS

Desktop

Nothing to download. Open the site in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and everything — lobby, cashier, live tables — runs as-is.

Chrome and Edge will offer an install icon in the address bar if you want it in its own window rather than a tab. That is purely cosmetic; it changes nothing about the account or the games. If you are on a computer and want the app on your phone instead, the site shows a QR code that jumps straight to the mobile install screen.

After installing: the check that matters

The install is the easy part. This is the part worth your attention, and it is the same regardless of device.

Curaçao rebuilt its licensing system, and the old credentials many sites still display are no longer live:

DateWhat changed
28 November 2024Antillephone’s master licence expired
January 2025Legacy sub-licences issued under the master system lapsed
15 October 2025The orange transition seal stopped being valid
NowOperators must hold a direct Curaçao Gaming Authority licence and show a green seal

So the check is specific rather than vague: scroll to the footer and click the seal. A current one is green, from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and links through to a register entry naming the operating company. A static image that goes nowhere, or a seal quoting an Antillephone number in the 8048/JAZ format, is a stale credential.

Do that before the first deposit, not after a payout stalls. It decides whether there is a regulator standing behind your balance.

The rest of the pre-deposit checklist

  • Verify the account early. ID, proof of address and a payment-method screenshot clear faster when they are already on file than when a withdrawal is waiting on them.
  • Pick the payout method deliberately. Crypto lands within minutes of approval, e-wallets around 24 hours, cards 3–5 business days on the network’s schedule. This choice affects payout speed far more than which device you installed on.
  • Know the ceilings. AU$14,000 per week and AU$60,000 per month, so a large win arrives in instalments.
  • Read the bonus terms before opting in. AU$20 minimum qualifying deposit, 40x wagering on the bonus, a 30-day window, and the 100 free spins arriving 20 per day over five days rather than in one block.

FAQ: Win Spirit Download

Is the Win Spirit download free?
Yes. There is no purchase, subscription or unlock fee for either the APK or the browser install, on any device. Money only enters the picture when you fund the account and place a real-money bet. Any page asking you to pay for the download itself is not the casino.
Where is the download button on my iPhone?
There is not one, and that is expected. iOS has no sideloading, so the route is Safari’s Share icon and then Add to Home Screen. It has to be Safari — Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not expose that install path, even though they run Safari’s engine underneath.
I cannot find the Unknown Sources setting on Android.
Because it no longer exists. Android 8.0 replaced the single device-wide toggle with a per-app permission, so instead of hunting through Security settings you simply open the downloaded file and grant install rights to the browser that fetched it when Android asks. Guides that still describe one global switch predate 2017.
The install option does not appear in my browser.
Opera is the usual culprit — it does not offer the install prompt for this site. Chrome exposes it in the three-dot menu as Install app, Firefox on Android as Add to Home screen, and Safari on iOS behind the Share icon. Switch browsers before assuming the site is at fault.
Do I need a separate download to play on desktop?
No. The desktop site runs in any modern browser with no client to install. Chrome and Edge on Windows and macOS will also offer to install it as a windowed app from the address bar if you want it separated from your tabs, but that is convenience rather than a requirement.
How do I know the site is still properly licensed?
Check the seal in the footer, and check it before depositing rather than after. Curaçao replaced its master-licence system: Antillephone’s master licence expired on 28 November 2024, legacy sub-licences lapsed in January 2025, and the orange transition seal stopped being valid on 15 October 2025. A current operator shows a green Curaçao Gaming Authority seal that links to a live register entry.
